Sustainability specialist Clarasight appoints Hutchings to advisory board
Karen Hutchings
Carbon planning platform Clarasight has appointed former EY global travel manager Karen Hutchings to its advisory board.
The company, which provides businesses with sustainability insights and forward-looking emissions planning, said Hutchings will provide strategic guidance to its leadership team and help grow the company’s product capabilities to serve the global corporate travel and events community, particularly in Europe.
Adam Braun, Clarasight CEO and co-founder, said Hutchings’ “global perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by travel managers will be invaluable as we scale our product offerings to fully equip organisations with the tools and data to predictably achieve emissions reduction goals that optimise financial performance.”
Since departing EY last year and founding Cobb and Hutch Consulting, Hutchings has taken on a number of roles, joining serviced apartment agency SilverDoor as a strategic advisor and event tech company HeadBox as a board director.
Clarasight changed its name from Climate Club earlier this year and announced the appointment of a number of industry veterans to its advisory board, including Patrick Diemer, the co-founder
and chairman of BT4Europe, and tClara founder and CEO Scott Gillespie.
