Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya‘s vacation to Europe went downhill when they got robbed of their passports and documents in Florence. However, things got better after the Indian Embassy intervened, as they issued the duo emergency certificates to travel. In a recent post, the couple raised a toast as they boarded a flight to India and were recently spotted at the Mumbai International Airport.

Vivek and Divyanka leave for India

After struggling to get their passports back, the duo recently thanked the Indian embassy for coming to their aid.

Taking to their Instagram handles, Divyanka and Vivek shared a video where they raised a toast as they boarded a flight back home. After having gone through so much, the duo indeed looked elated to be returning to India.

Sharing the video on their Instagram, the couple wrote, “When little things become big and big things become little. Cheers to the brighter side of life. What do YOU want to raise a toast to today?”

Later, the couple was spotted coming out of the Mumbai International Airport, where they conversed with the media, posed for a few fans, and shared about their horrific experience.

For those who have come in late, Divyanka and Vivek faced a mishap during their vacation in Florence. It was earlier this week that the couple was exploring the historic city.

The robbery occurred while the couple was out for lunch, leaving their car parked outside the resort where they were supposed to check in. When the duo returned, they found that their car had been broken into and that their passports, wallets, money and other valuables were gone.

The couple reached out to the local police, but they were unable to help them without CCTV footage. After contacting the Indian Embassy, the couple got emergency certificates for their safe return to India.

On July 14, they took to social media to share the update with their concerned fans. The couple was in Europe to celebrate their eighth anniversary.
