It has been confirmed that British technology tycoon Mike Lynch is missing after a luxury yacht sank in bad weather off the coast of Sicily, sources said.

One man has died and six people are missing after the luxury yacht was struck by an unexpectedly violent storm and sank off the Sicilian capital Palermo, the Italian coast guard said on Monday.
