Staycity opens new Wilde aparthotel in London

Aparthotel operator Staycity Group has opened its fourth Wilde property in London.

Wilde London Liverpool Street is the brand’s new location in the historic Petticoat Lane area of east London.

It features 106 apartments, including 11 room types, all with fully equipped kitchens, while some units have balconies or terraces. Six accessible rooms are also available.

The property’s communal areas on the ground floor include a bar, dining outlet and coffee shop.

Kelly Morgan, managing director of Wilde Aparthotels, said: “We are very excited to open in Liverpool Street and to unveil the new direction for Wilde, which takes its design cues from the locality and the history of the East End.

“Our stunning artworks, and around 70 per cent of our food and drink, are sourced from the best of local suppliers and artists, who we’re keen to support and celebrate.”

Wilde already operates aparthotels in the London districts of Aldgate, Covent Garden and Paddington, as well as properties in Berlin, Edinburgh and Manchester. Further sites are also due to open in Cambridge, Oxford, Lisbon and Porto.
