NBA reinforcements in Athens: Turkish basketball player among European champions

Olympiakos brought in Sasha Vezenkov and Evan Fournier from the NBA, and now Panathinaikos’ answer has arrived.

The “Greens”, who are defending the title of European champions this season, are stronger for Džedi Osman, the club’s first man Dimitris Janakopoulos announced on social networks.

Osman thus returns to European basketball, which he left in 2017 when he went to the NBA from Anadolu Efes and played for Cleveland.

PAO won the Euroleague last season after bringing in Ergin Ataman and changing almost the entire team – with the arrival of Osman, after preserving the backbone of the team, it seems that he is ready to defend the title.

In recent days, it was speculated that the winger was in negotiations with Real Madrid, but now there is no doubt that his future is in Greece.

Allegedly, he has agreed a one-year contract with Panathinaikos and will earn 1,6 million euros.
