Menzies expands Ryanair services to 10 European airports

Menzies Aviation has extended its long-term partnership with Ryanair to provide ground handling services at 10 airports across Europe.

The renewed agreement, which will continue through October 2029, includes the addition of Iași International Airport (IAS) in Romania – one of the country’s oldest airports.

This expansion makes IAS the fifth Romanian airport where Menzies Aviation supports the Irish low-cost airline, alongside Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP), Cluj International Airport (CLJ), Sibiu International Airport (SBZ) and Timișoara International Airport (TSR).

In addition, Menzies Aviation will continue delivering ground handling services at five other major airports: Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG), Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Oslo Airport (OSL), Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT) and London Gatwick (LGW).

The renewal solidifies Menzies Aviation’s role in handling over 26,000 flights for Ryanair annually, reinforcing their trusted and longstanding collaboration.

Miguel Gomez, executive vice president for Europe at Menzies Aviation, said: “We are thrilled to embark on the next chapter of our relationship with Ryanair, one of Europe’s leading airlines, expanding our ground handling services to 10 locations across Europe.

“It not only signifies the strength of our partnership but also our shared commitment to delivering the safest, most secure and sustainable airside services.

“We look forward to continuing this partnership and expanding our services at a new location with the airline.”
