Emburse appoints Riggs as chief customer officer

Mark Riggs

Former Coupa executive Mark Riggs has joined Emburse as the company’s chief customer officer, the expenses specialist has announced.

Riggs, who had been serving in the same role at Coupa for the past eight years, began the role at Emburse on Monday (14 October), according to a spokesperson for the company.

In his new role, Riggs will be “in charge of our customer journey from acquisition to retention”, according to Emburse’s CEO Marne Martin.

“He’ll build and strengthen our deep relationships with customers while ensuring our solutions meet the needs and expectations of our diverse and expanding global client base,” explained Martin.

The chief customer officer role is a newly created position at Emburse, a company spokesperson said.

Last month, Emburse announced it had rebranded Chrome River as Emburse Enterprise and Certify was now known as Emburse Professional. Tripbam has also been renamed as Emburse Reshop following its acquisition by Emburse in 2023.
