New lounge to open at Heathrow Terminal 2
A new airport lounge is set to open at London Heathrow Terminal 2 this December following an extended partnership between No1 Lounges and airport experience provider Airport Dimensions.
The new No1 Lounge, located near Gate A18 after security and duty free, will feature “a modern and elegant aesthetic” with 90 seats, a food buffet and tendered bar, a library area and free wifi throughout.
All passengers travelling through T2 will be able access the lounge regardless of airline or travel class, with entry fees starting from £40. Bookings can be made in advance via the company’s website, but incur an additional £6 reservation fee.
Rami El-Dahshan, managing director of No1 Lounges, said: “This lounge represents the culmination of our team’s hard work, designed with a deep understanding of our customers’ needs when flying from this airport. Every aspect of the physical space and customer experience has been thoughtfully curated to ensure that our guests feel welcomed, relaxed and ready for their onward journey.”
The company, a subsidiary of Swissport, also operates lounges at Heathrow Terminal 3 and 5, along with seven lounges at London Gatwick airport, two at Birmingham Airport and two newly-opened lounges at London Luton Airport.
