Cathay Pacific unveils new business class suite
Cathay Pacific has this week unveiled a new business class suite, called Aria, together with new-look premium economy and economy cabins.
Retrofitted on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, the new products made their debut on services between Hong Kong and Beijing today, ahead of deployment on unspecified regional and long-haul routes later this year.
Cathay Group chief customer and commercial officer Lavinia Lau said the airline is investing more than HK$100 billion in its fleet, cabins and lounges over the next seven years. “As part of this evolution, we are excited to introduce new seat products over the next three years, each designed to elevate the inflight experience for our customers,” said Lau.
In addition to the “all-new” business and premium economy cabins and the “refreshed” economy cabin, Cathay will also introduced a new first class cabin on B777-9s and a flat-bed business class product on its Airbus A330s.
“Through our investments in cutting-edge aircraft, innovative technology and groundbreaking facilities, we are dedicated to moving beyond expectations – in the air, on the ground and in every experience we create,” Lau added.
