Moustapha Diouf, a Senegalese fisher, once tried to make the voyage himself, seeking a better life in Europe for his family, but catastrophe struck and he lost several friends on the way. Now back in Dakar, he is trying to persuade young fishers not to make the same journey, helping them instead to set up small businesses.
