According to the Met Office, November also sees cooler temperatures in this region, with average daily highs of 14.9C.

Istanbul in Turkey has been found to be among the cheapest destinations for an autumn break.

The research looked at factors including public transport tickets, Airbnb rates, and the cost of a meal, with Istanbul coming out on top.

Istanbul provides endless opportunities for exploration and entertainment with an infectious vibe felt throughout.

Visitors to this lively city will be amazed at its cheaper prices compared to many other European hotspots. The average price of a meal is a cool £7.31.

Adding to its most affordable option among the travel destinations, the city’s cost of a one-way transport ticket is only 43p.

When it comes to accommodation, Istanbul was found to have the third-most affordable rates from Airbnb, with an average cost of £68 per night.
