Advito and Clarasight to provide joint sustainability offering
BCD Travel’s Advito consulting arm has partnered with carbon planning and forecasting technology Clarasight for a combined solution to help companies meet sustainability goals, the companies announced this week.
The partnership is designed to help organisations “measure, budget, and forecast their carbon emissions, and drive meaningful behaviour change to achieve long-term sustainability goals.”
Mutual customers will be able to apply Advito’s Gate4 emissions methodology to their carbon calculations and planning.
As part of the agreement, Advito is working as an “implementation partner” for Clarasight, offering consulting, data-based recommendations and marketing to help companies meet carbon reduction targets.
Advito’s Engage team, which works across business units beyond travel, will also be able to support traveller and stakeholder engagement programmes based on Clarasight’s data, the companies said. Advito and Clarasight added that mutual customers had been asking for “alignment across their sustainability solution providers”.
“It’s so important to LinkedIn’s success that everyone in our travel and sustainability ecosystems work together to drive real results,” said LinkedIn global travel director Leslie Hadden, one of those mutual customers.
“This partnership will help us take a more holistic approach, from carbon budgeting and forecasting, to building our emissions reduction strategy and creating data-driven employee communications to encourage behaviour change.”
