Westcon-Comstor has signed an agreement to become an authorised Amazon Web Services (AWS) distributor for Europe.
The global technology provider and specialist distributor describes this as a strategic expansion of its cloud offering for channel partners.
The distribution agreement covers the entire European Economic Area (EEA) plus Switzerland and the UK and Ireland.
This includes over 30 countries, and all partners will have access to the AWS portfolio of cloud products and solutions.
The distributor will establish a dedicated AWS cloud business unit in Europe, with a centralised centre of excellence. In-country sales, pre-sales and marketing teams will complement partner recruitment and enablement strategies and demand generation programmes.

Westcon-Comstor will provide partners with comprehensive support designed to accelerate their AWS success. This includes helping partners to develop their AWS go-to-market strategy, access AWS funding programmes, and build technical expertise through enablement.
