Diversity Travel expands technology team

Travel management company Diversity Travel has recruited Joanne Bowden as its new chief technical officer.

Bowden, who has joined the UK-based TMC from Premex Group, becomes part of Diversity’s senior management team as it looks to improve its technology integration.

Diversity Travel, which specialises in the humanitarian, academic and not-for-profit sectors, has also appointed Dan Johnson as the TMC’s first head of engineering and Ben Dale as head of IT services.

Diversity is looking to further develop its online booking tool and to “mature” other technology functions during 2025.

The company, which was ranked as the 17th largest TMC in the UK in 2024, received investment from Primary Capital in 2023, which will help to fund planned expansion in Europe and the US.
