Inter target Valentin Gomez: “I want to grow in European football”
Inter Milan-linked Velez Sarsfield defender Valentin Gomez admits that he would like to move to a team in Europe.
The 21-year-old gave his thoughts on his future after his team lost to Estudiantes in the Trofeo de Campeones final, via FCInterNews.
Gomez is reportedly a player who has come onto the radar of Inter.
The Nerazzurri certainly have a track record of signing players from the Argentine league.
Just this past summer, Inter brought in 21-year-old central defender Tomas Palacios.
Palacios has yet to make a start for Inter. However, he is very much a player they are backing to become a future first team regular.
Therefore, that is an indication of Inter’s overall transfer strategy.

Inter Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin reportedly scouted the 21-year-old on a recent trip to Argentine.
With his season over, Gomez took stock of what comes next for him.

“Then I’ll see what decision I make.”
“The reality is, I’d like to continue to grow in European football,” Gomez admits. “So I’ll see whether that’s a possibility.”
“Let’s see if any club is willing to make a move to sign me.”
