César Huerta wants to play European football

TRANSFERS César Huerta, also known as Chino, is about to move to Anderlecht in Belgium. He would become the first Mexican at Anderlecht. Negotiations between Pumas UNAM and the Belgian club are well advanced, despite interest from other clubs such as Osasuna. Ajax also had the player on its radar earlier this year.

ccording to Mexican sources, Huerta chose to go to Anderlecht because of its competitiveness and the opportunity to show himself in European competitions. At Osasuna, it would be more difficult for him to play for prizes and thus not be able to force European soccer. In fact, his goal is to build a name for himself in Europe and eventually move to a bigger league and club. Anderlecht is the ideal next step in that regard.

The transfer is not yet official, but he is expected to be announced as an Anderlecht player soon.
