SVG Europe unveils extensive 2025 events schedule with new Winter Sports Forum, extended Football Summit and more Regional Forums

SVG Europe has announced an extensive programme of events for 2025, including flagship summits, regional forums and online events.

New for 2025 is the Winter Sports Forum, taking place in Oslo on 13 March. Set to explore the unique aspects of capturing live winter sports, including the production and operational challenges faced and the tools and techniques used by federations, broadcasters and their partners to build audiences and immerse viewers in the action, registration is open now.

Also open for registration is the extended Football Summit, taking place on 20 March, a day after SVG Europe Women’s A City United. Both are being held in Manchester. In addition to looking at how we can continue to augment televised and online coverage of the beautiful game, Football Summit will also include a series of Production Workshops that will provide practical advice, tips and tricks, and guidance on the tools and techniques required for producing and distributing more efficient and effective football output. The workshops will include topics such as sustainable football coverage and directing live football. Register now.

Building on the success of previous Create, Share, Engage events, Digital Sports Summit is also new for 2025. Taking place in London, the summit will delve deeper into the world of multiplatform production and distribution, sharing how to build audiences, engage fans and drive monetisation and engagement.

The next 12 months will also see a whole host of Regional Forums, including in Austria, Spain, Germany and France. More online events have been added to the programme too, with GenAI and Live Production joining SVG Europe Audio and SVG Europe Women online events. The first online event of the year, SVG Europe Audio: Scaling up for DTC, takes place on 5 February and registration is open now.
