Access Bookings promotes Gunn to COO
Lee Gunn
Travel management company Access Bookings has promoted Lee Gunn to the role of chief operating officer (COO).
Gunn has worked as the TMC’s operations director for the past seven years after first joining the agency as an apprentice in 2008.
As COO, he will oversee day-to-day operations of the TMC, which serves companies operating in the media and entertainment sector and was recently ranked among the UK’s top 20 agencies in BTN Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 report.
Gunn will also work with the company’s senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies, while managing key client relationships. Additionally, he will play a “crucial” role in the company’s risk management and crisis response following his prior experience navigating the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2010 ash cloud crisis.
Access Bookings managing director Patricia Barnes said: “Lee’s promotion to COO is a testament to his deep understanding of the business and ability to drive success across multiple fronts.
“His consistent track record of fostering strong client relationships, exceeding project expectations, and demonstrating robust crisis management skills made him the ideal candidate for this role.”
Commenting on his promotion, Gunn said: “I’m excited to be taking on the role of COO and I’m looking forward to working with all teams within the business to further drive our sustainable growth and further enhance operational efficiency to solidify our position as an industry leader.”
