Agiito’s Moore joins Trees4Travel in climate solutions role
Sustainable travel specialist Trees4Travel has appointed Dana Moore as its new director of operations for climate solutions.
Moore, who was formerly head of sustainability solutions at travel management company Agiito, will have responsibility for guiding businesses in how to achieve their ESG goals in her new role at Trees4Travel.
“Joining Trees4Travel marks a pivotal moment in my career enabling me to expand beyond traditional travel, meetings and events, and truly drive meaningful change across diverse businesses and sectors,” said Moore.
She added that sustainability was “not only a responsible choice for the planet and society but can also bring tangible benefits to any company’s bottom line, reputation and long-term success”.
Moore has been at Agiito for 13 years in a variety of roles after starting her career in business travel at CWT in 2000.
Her work at Trees4Travel will involve ensuring that clients meet regulatory compliance for their sustainability reporting frameworks and decarbonisation strategies. This includes a range of climate solutions and collaborations on sustainability projects with local communities around the world.
Nico Nicholas, CEO of Trees4Travel, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Dana join our team, our values are aligned, driven by purpose, with a clear understanding of the imperative to take responsibility, inspire action and help bring about the changes required for a more equitable and sustainable future.
“We know Dana is the ideal person to spearhead our growth and take us to the next chapter.”
Last week, Trees4Travel announced that it has joined forces with aviation analytics firm Cirium to provide corporate clients with additional data to measure emissions from air travel.
