Atalanta vs Bayer Leverkusen, UEFA Europa League 2023-24 final: Know where to watch live streaming and telecast in India

Recently-crowned Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen will take on Italian outfit Atalanta BC in the UEFA Europa League 2023-24 final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland in the wee hours of Thursday.

The Atalanta BC vs Bayer Leverkusen UEL final starts at 12:30 AM IST on Thursday and will be live streamed and live telecasted in India.

Bayer Leverkusen have reached the European football final twice before but fell short on both occasions. They have also faced Atalanta BC, who will be appearing in the European final for the first time in their history, only twice before. Leverkusen lost both legs of the 2021-22 season’s Round of 16 tie.

That being said, Bayer Leverkusen have been one of the most impressive sides in Europe this season. After finishing sixth last season, they won the Bundesliga title and remained undefeated in their entire domestic league campaign.

Xabi Alonso’s side won 28 of their 34 matches and drew six games.

Leverkusen trumped English outfit West Ham 3-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals before facing AS Roma from Italy. They won the two-legged tie 4-2 thanks to a 2-0 win away from home and secured their place in the final.

Bayer Leverkusen are also unbeaten in all 12 of their European fixtures so far this season and will be looking to become the fourth team to win the trophy unbeaten. The Germans also remain in the hunt for an elusive treble and they will take on FC Kaiserslautern in the DFB Pokal this weekend.

Meanwhile, with two matches remaining in Serie A, Atalanta look well-placed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side has collected 66 points from 36 matches and have won 20 games.

The highlight of Atalanta’s season was their triumph over English giants Liverpool FC in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League. Gianluca Scamacca scored a brace while Mario Pasalic added another as Atalanta stunned Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield.

Although the six-time Champions League winners won the reverse fixture 1-0, it wasn’t enough to prevent Atalanta from qualifying for the semi-finals.

Atalanta then beat Marseille 4-1 on aggregate thanks to another 3-0 victory, this time at home, to secure their spot in the final of the UEFA Europa League. They became the 11th different team from Italy to reach a European final.
