BTA and Advantage to ‘collaborate’ more closely

The Business Travel Association (BTA) is to collaborate more closely with the Advantage Travel Partnership.

The two UK-based organisations announced their plans to hold a joint event in March 2025 at the BTA’s overseas conference in Gibraltar on Tuesday (1 October).

This will involve merging the BTA’s spring conference and Advantage’s Business Travel Symposium into a single one-day event in the UK next year.

Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Advantage’s managing director of global business travel, said the combined event would create “more depth and breadth”.

Andrew Clarke, the BTA’s commercial director, added: “We are looking to take a more collaborative approach to the industry and to do more collaborative events in the future.”

Advantage was ranked as the third largest TMC network in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.
