CDS Groupe acquires Italian ERP provider

France-based hotel booking platform CDS Groupe has acquired Italian ERP (enterprise resource planning) provider SIAP for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see SIAP’s 90 employees join CDS Groupe as part of the latter’s expansion plans in Europe, but the company will retain both its brand identity and management structure.

According to the companies, SIAP provides ERP software to more than 1,000 Italian TMCs and its tools will now be rolled out across CDS Groupe and offered to its corporate clients.

The move follows a string of acquisitions by CDS Groupe in recent years, including its 2023 acquisition of Germany-based hotel specialist Corporate Rates Club (CRC) and expense management provider Rydoo’s travel platform in 2022.

CDS Groupe CEO Ziad Minkara said: “With the integration of SIAP, we gain not only a stronger foothold in the Italian market but also access to advanced ERP technologies and a deep understanding of local travel management practices. This news also means that we are now on target to hit €1 billion in annual hotel booking volume by 2027.”

SIAP founder Antonio Rosa added: “Joining CDS Groupe allows us to combine SIAP’s expertise with the Group’s extensive resources and network, creating new opportunities to serve our clients better.”
