Celtic: Brendan Rodgers on next steps in Europe, confidence & trust in squad

Rodgers said an away win in the Champions League is the next step for his side and they’ve been building towards that level of performance since last year.

He added that the performance and result against Atalanta gives him confidence they can go to any stadium and defend well.

The manager also has a real trust in his squad. He believes he can pick any team and the quality remains the same.

He said Dinamo Zagreb are a very good side with some really gifted players and they will be playing with “extra motivation” in the Champions League.

Rodgers hasn’t started thinking about the League Cup final against Rangers yet. He thinks there’s enough time after the Dinamo Zagreb match to prepare for that.

He confirms everyone is fit and available.
