Chargeurs PCC launching H2 lightweight tech fabric | Manufacturing Tech News Europe
A brand-new technological product for the outdoor market will be introduced by PCC Fashion Technologies, a global provider of textiles, interlinings, and inner components: H2, the lightest three-layer textile available. This innovative high-tech textile product will make its debut at ISPO, Munich, one of the most significant outdoor goods trade shows in the world.
The distinctive Warp-Knit/Weft-Insert process, created by Chargeurs PCC’s research and development teams at its storied Lainière de Picardie production facility in Péronne, France, is used to manufacture H2. When combined with extremely valuable wefts, this cutting-edge technology gives the fabric unmatched warp stability, quality, breathability, and resilience, making it the perfect choice for premium brands and high-end technical applications.
H2 is a world-first technological innovation created for the luxury outdoor apparel market, specifically for the technical athleisure collections of the most prominent companies worldwide. The lightest and most sustainable element in nature, hydrogen, is the inspiration behind the naming of this 45-gram, three-layer fabric. H2 is the preferred product for the outdoor and luxury clothing industries because it combines remarkable lightness with essential performance attributes that the market currently demands, such as elasticity, natural recovery, breathability, comfort, and versatility.
“The launch of H2, is an important milestone in the growth path of our company,” said Gianluca Tanzi, CEO and chairman of Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies.
