Cisalpina Tours opens new Rome HQ

Italian TMC Cisalpina Tours is expanding its domestic operations after its parent company, Bluvacanze Group, opened its new headquarters in Rome.

The new office, located on the city’s Lungotevere Gassman boulevard, will house 100 employees (across Bluvacanze, Cisalpina and the group’s luxury leisure operator Going) and marks the TMC’s eighth Italian outpost alongside offices in Turin, Milan, Naples, Sorrento, Padua, Bolzano and Rimini.

Commenting on the opening of the new HQ, Bluvacanze Group CEO, Domenico Pellegrino, said: “It is a prestigious office that aims to significantly improve staff interactions and synergies, but also to provide quality services and significant collaborations with our customers and partners in the capital.”

Ranked as Italy’s second largest TMC in BTN Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 report, Cisalpina also reported that it has successfully completed the first phase of its international expansion. The company, which claims to have 800 corporate clients, now has a presence in the US, the UK, Brazil, Cyprus, Turkey, Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland.

“In just over two years we have achieved recruiting, training and operational management for all countries,” the company said in a statement. “Each office technically operates as a travel agency, serving international corporate clients both for booking and managing their corporate trips and for assisting passengers and protecting their safety.”

Looking ahead, the TMC said it also has plans to launch operations in Durban, South Africa.
