Cristina Rodríguez revamps Elizabeth Arden beauty advisor uniforms for Europe travel retail

Beauty advisors can update their look with the innovative mix-and-match collection of separates and accessories

Beauty and fragrance house Elizabeth Arden has collaborated with Spanish stylist and costume designer Cristina Rodríguez to create uniforms for its beauty advisors in European travel retail.

The uniforms are being introduced in phases across key airport locations for the Revlon-owned brand in the region.

Rodríguez is a costume designer for film, television and theatre. She has created designs for over 70 films and television series, including Elite on Netflix and The Masked Singer.

She has also received seven nominations for the GOYA Awards, Spains national film awards.

“We wanted to elevate our travel retail beauty advisor uniforms to the next level,” explained Elizabeth Arden Marketing Director EMEA Céline Moittié.

“Our sales team in travel retail are more than beauty consultants – they are our brand ambassadors. As the first point of contact many travelling consumers have with the Elizabeth Arden portfolio, they are the true face of the brand.”

The new uniforms showcase the brand’s monogram and signature red – a colour that has defined the skincare specialist since 1910, when Founder Elizabeth Arden painted the front door of the first company spa scarlet.

Moittié added: “Our distinctive signature red colour represents boldness and empowerment – qualities our pioneering Founder was well known for.”

Revlon Director Learning and Development EMEA Prestige – Elizabeth Arden Bruno Orbe remarked: “Beauty advisor uniforms are so much more than just work clothes; they embody and project a vital identity.

“We wanted to create something fun and dynamic, which also showcased our brand heritage and DNA. Cristina understood from the start how to use the EA monogram and the Arden shade of red to leverage our brand values.”

Moittié concluded: “We are very excited to reveal these uniforms which have been created specifically for the travel retail environment.

“It’s an investment that acknowledges how much we value the crucial role our beauty advisors play in the channel. The designs really help to capture the attention of passengers, and feedback to date has been extremely positive.

“We believe that these new uniforms help to foster a sense of belonging and team spirit, while perfectly expressing the essence and ethos of the Elizabeth Arden brand.”
