Cumbrian star opens largest outdoor store in Europe

The GO York store, located in Vangarde Shopping Park, opened its doors on September 8, boasting 125,000 sq ft of space and over 380 brands.

This includes the biggest Yeti store in Europe, a Garmin store with the UK’s most extensive range, and the first Adidas Terrex in-store concession in the UK.

Lee Bagnall, CEO of GO Outdoors, said: “I am extremely excited and proud to have opened the biggest outdoor store in Europe.

“I am thrilled to be able to bring the very best brands, products and services to our customers in York, in our new game-changing flagship store.”

The store also features the Alpine Café, serving meals made with produce sourced from the area.
