Delta to introduce route from London to Orlando

Delta Air Lines is to launch flights from London Heathrow to Orlando in Florida for the start of the 2024-25 winter schedule.

Orlando will become Delta’s eighth US destination served direct from London this winter, with flights operating four times per week from 28 October. It will also be the airline’s first non-stop route between the UK and Florida.

UK-based Virgin Atlantic, which is Delta’s transatlantic joint venture partner, already flies to Orlando from Heathrow, as well as from Manchester and Edinburgh airports to the Florida gateway.

Delta will use Airbus A330-900neo aircraft on the new route, which will be fitted with Delta One business class, Premium Select, Comfort+ and economy cabins.
