Flight Centre hires Dunbier for ground transport role

Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has hired long-time Hertz executive Mandy Dunbier to lead its ground transport segment as global supply partnerships manager.

Dunbier, who takes up the role immediately, is now in charge of growing Flight Centre’s sales of car rental, chauffeur transport and on-demand services for both corporate and leisure businesses, which include TMC brands FCM and Corporate Traveller.

Andrew Gallard, who is FCTG’s general manager of supply partnerships, said: “Mandy’s expertise lies in both developing and executing comprehensive strategies to maximise distribution channels, enhance market share and drive revenue growth, all of which will be vital as we build on the already successful car strategy for our company.”

Dunbier spent nearly 17 years at Hertz – most recently as regional lead for travel distribution in the Australia and New Zealand region.

In her new role, Dunbier will be based in FCTG’s global headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.
