FOD Mobility Group promotes Howick to group CEO

FOD Mobility Group has promoted Joe Howick to group CEO as the company’s current CEO and founder Justin Whitston moves to a non-executive director role.

Howick joined the UK-based company in 2019 as chief commercial officer of the group before serving in his current role as CEO of its ground services platform Fleetondemand. He previously held leadership positions with FleetEurope, Zenith and Leasedrive Group.

Howick will now work closely with the group’s leadership team to drive the ‘next phase of growth’ as the company looks to expand its ground transport and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platforms across the UK and Europe.

Commenting on his new role, Howick said: “The recent implementation of our new business development strategy is well underway, and our current focus is to continue building our existing customer base in the UK and expanding our presence in the European market.”

Whitston, meanwhile, remains the group’s majority shareholder and will continue to work with its executive board.

“As the founder of FOD Mobility Group the timing is right for Joe to lead the group onwards into the next chapter of the company’s development and I look forward to supporting him and the team in the continued success of the business,” Whitston said.
