Galway United v Dundalk
Irish Premier Division match at Eamonn Deacy Park, Galway
TV: LOITV
KO: 7:45pm
Galway United to win
Galway United are battling to keep themselves in the race for UEFA Conference League qualification as the Irish Premier Division enters its final straight of the season.
John Caulfield’s side host Dundalk on the back of winning away at Waterford last time out and they have lost just one of their last 11 home games in league action. They will be confident of a home victory to keep up the pressure on Shamrock Rovers and Derry City.
Bohemians v Derry City
FAI Cup semii-final match at Dalymount Park, Dublin
TV: RTE2
KO: 7:45pm
Bohemians to win
Bohemians and Derry City hit pause on their league campaigns on Friday night as they face off in an FAI Cup semi final at Dalymount Park.
Derry are looking to strike a balance between pushing for the final, and keeping their league momentum running, with Bohs likely to already be safe from the threat of relegation.
However, the visitors’ away form in the league reads as one win in their last four on the road, and Bohs could pull of a slight shock in front of their home fans to reach the final in November, after just one home loss in their last three.
Verona v Venezia
Serie A match at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi, Verona
TV: One Football
KO: 7:45pm
Both teams to score: Yes
Verona host Venezia on Friday night with both sides on a miserable run of recent form. The home team have lost their last three in Serie A with the visitors winning just one of their six league games this season.
Picking a winner is tricky here, with Verona winning just once from three at home in 2024/25, but goals should be a fairly solid pick for both teams.
Verona have scored in five of their six league outings in 2024/25 and Venezia have found the back of the net in three of their six.
Marseille v Angers
Ligue 1 match at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille
TV: Ligue 1 Pass
KO: 7:45pm
Marseille to win and over 2.5 goals
Marseille host struggling Angers at the Stade Velodrome with Roberto De Zerbi’s team looking to bounce back from defeat at Strasbourg.
A loss on the road came as a shock for De Zerbi, after winning their previous three, and scoring plenty of goals along the way.
This looks to be a solid shout for a home win, with Marseille picking up four points in their two home games so far, and Angers failing to win at all this season. The ex-Brighton manager will be looking to boost the goals column too, with five of Marseille’s Ligue 1 assignments this season featuring over 2.5 goals scored.
Leganes v Valencia
La Liga match at Estadio Municipal de Butarque, Leganes
TV: La Liga TV / Premier Player
KO: 8:00pm
Under 2.5 goals
A trip to the outskirts of Madrid rounds out Friday’s acca as Leganes host Valencia in another tale of two struggling teams. The pair have won just one league game each this season with Valencia already inside the relegation zone.
They have also only scored five goals each in 2024/25, as the joint-second lowest in La Liga, ahead of Real Valladolid on four.
Leganes have made it very tough for teams visiting them this season, and their last six games overall have featured under 2.5 goals scored in total, plus Valencia have scored just one away goal in four this season.
