Holland America Line Unveils 2026 Europe Season

Holland America Line has announced its 2026 Europe cruise season, featuring four ships offering voyages ranging from seven to 42 days across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Spain’s Canary Islands and transatlantic routes.

The Mediterranean itineraries will be served by Oosterdam, offering seven- to 14-day cruises departing from Lisbon, Portugal; Piraeus (Athens); Barcelona; Civitavecchia (Rome); and Trieste (Venice). Longer Collectors’ Voyages of up to 27 days are also available.

“There’s so much to see throughout the Mediterranean region, and by creating itineraries from multiple homeports, we’re giving our guests the opportunity to explore more ports and countries in an exciting way we haven’t offered before,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and deployment for Holland America.

In Northern Europe, Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam will operate from Rotterdam, Netherlands, with Nieuw Statendam also offering select roundtrip sailings from Dover, England. The lineup includes seven-day Norway fjord cruises; seven-day open-jaw sailings between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Rotterdam; and 14-day Baltic and Scandinavian Capital cruises.

“We’re excited to see both Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam returning to homeport in our historic home,” said Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer of Holland America. “Onboard the two ships, guests can experience over 80 ports across 20 countries, as far west as the Canary Islands in Spain, and as far east as Finland and the Baltic States.”

The 2026 season will introduce four new ports: Aberdeen, Scotland; Kalundborg, Denmark; Odda, Norway; and Portsmouth, England.

Many itineraries can be combined into longer Collectors’ Voyages for more extensive European exploration.
