Launch of Exports by Tikun Olam Europe – Business of Cannabis

Tikun Olam Europe pioneers by conducting the 1st export of finished Medical Cannabis products to Switzerland. 

In a landmark moment for the Greek medical cannabis industry, Tikun Olam Europe, the 1st Medical Cannabis Company in Greece, sets new standards and achieves another first by completing the 1st export of finished medical cannabis products from Greece. This milestone marks the launch of its operations in international markets, with Switzerland as the destination, in collaboration with the Swiss pharmaceutical company MediCrops AG.

This groundbreaking step underscores Greece’s potential to emerge as a key hub for the European and global medical cannabis market, bolstering its position as an international producer of high-quality finished medical cannabis products.

Tikun Olam Europe owns state-of-the-art facilities in Corinth, certified according to the stringent EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices) standards. These certifications, granted by the National Organization for Medicines (EOF) and Q-CERT respectively, affirm the company’s commitment to excellence at every stage of production.

The 1st export to Switzerland includes finished medical cannabis products in dried flower form, cultivated from cannabis strains developed with advanced scientific practices under the signature of Tikun Olam. These same strains are used to produce the finished medical cannabis products already available in the Greek market, delivering innovative solutions to the therapeutic community.

Strategically, Tikun Olam Europe invests in expanding its export portfolio, setting as next goal, to include products in the form of sublingual oil drops, enhancing the therapeutic options available to patients.

Moreover, Tikun Olam Europe plans to expand exports to key European medical cannabis markets, such as the United Kingdom and Germany—strategic regions expected to significantly contribute to the company’s growth at a European level.
