Loganair appoints Bush as new COO

 Natalie Bush

UK regional carrier Loganair has appointed Natalie Bush as its new chief operating officer and accountable manager from December 2024.

Currently the UK director and accountable manager for Tui Airways, Bush will join Loganair’s executive committee, reporting to recently-appointed chief executive Luke Farajallah. She will also be a part of the board safety review committee, reporting to Loganair chairman James Drummond on matters relating to airline safety and safety culture.

A former pilot, Bush began her career in the Royal Navy as a warfare officer, before joining Flybe as a pilot, initially flying BAE146 and Embraer 195 aircraft. She progressed to management roles over a 14-year career with the carrier, ultimately serving as director of safety and security.

Bush then worked as chief operations officer at Specialist Aviation Services (now Gama Aviation) before joining Tui Airways in January this year.

In her new role at Loganair, Bush will assume leadership for all operational and service delivery areas, including pilot, cabin crew and airport workforce groups. She will also be responsible for ground handling, safety and security, compliance and will lead industrial relations across frontline areas.

Luke Farajallah, Loganair CEO, said: “We are extremely happy to have been able to attract one of the most talented rising stars of the aviation sector, whose career is going from strength to strength, to the UK’s largest regional airline.

“Natalie makes a huge impact wherever she goes, and she thoroughly deserves this hugely important and exciting leadership opportunity at Loganair. We are looking forward to her arrival later this year,” he added.
