Lufthansa Group bolsters summer 2025 schedule

Lufthansa Group has announced a range of new routes for summer 2025 across its airlines.

The German aviation giant said it would operate more than 12,000 weekly flights to over 300 destinations in next summer’s schedule, which starts in late March.

New routes include Lufthansa Airlines’ flights from Frankfurt to Bydgoszcz in Poland, as well as Austrian Airlines services from Vienna to Edinburgh, Sylt in Germany and Burgas in Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, Swiss will launch flights from Zurich to Niš in Serbia, Montpellier in France and Heringsdorf in Germany.

Lufthansa will also use Airbus A380 aircraft on long-haul routes from Munich to Boston, New York JFK, Washington, Los Angeles and Delhi in summer 2025.
