Portugal’s Abreu selects Atriis for corporate bookings

Portuguese travel agency Abreu has selected Atriis Technologies as its global partner for corporate bookings, the two companies have announced.

The three-year deal sees Atriis “replacing all other online booking tools and legacy channels” for Abreu’s corporate customers and travel agents.

All Abreu’s corporate bookings will be processed either by agents through Atriis’ agent desktop or by travellers and bookers via the Atriis corporate online booking tool.

The platform is already available to Abreu’s agents and corporate customers, said Abreu’s head of corporate Ana Sofia Faria.

Porto-based Abreu has offices throughout Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, as well as international locations including Angola, Brazil, Spain, the UK and the US.

The agreement, which has an option for a three-year extension after the initial three years, covers all subsidiaries and offices providing corporate travel services.

Abreu’s senior director of airlines and distribution Nuno Barreiros said the agency was impressed by Atriis’ “impressive agility and transformational ability”.

“It empowers travellers to independently book, change, and cancel travel products and services, integrating all necessary backend processes effortlessly,” added Barreiros.
