Radisson debuts upscale brand in Austria

Radisson Hotels Group has debuted its upscale Radisson brand in Austria following the opening of a new hotel in Graz.

The newly built Radisson Hotel Graz is home to 232 rooms – making it the largest hotel in the city – a restaurant located under a glass roof in the property’s inner courtyard and a bar with a co-working space and lounge area.

Located by the city’s central train station, the hotel also includes three meeting rooms spanning 150sqm, which are directly connected to the restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

The hotel features a Scandinavian-inspired design, and all rooms are equipped with multiple USB ports, TVs with streaming functionality and an espresso machine.

On the sustainability front, electricity across the hotel comes from 100 per cent renewable sources, and water is heated by the city’s district heating system, according to Radisson. There are also four EV charging stations in its underground car park and a separate bike room that provides free charging of e-bike batteries.
