Reed & Mackay launches events division in France

Travel management company Reed & Mackay has introduced its dedicated events division in France following an increase in demand for the service.

Known as Reed & Mackay Events, the new division will be led by Barbara Labrit, who was recently appointed as head of meetings and events for France. Based in Paris, Labrit joined the company in May following previous M&E roles with FCM Travel and Egencia.

The UK-based TMC said the addition of its events offering in France comes amid the recent expansion of M&E operations in Spain, Italy and the Nordics. Its global events team has grown from six employees in 2019 to more than 165 in 2024, according to the TMC, including the appointment last month of Pauline Houston to the newly created position of global events managing director.

Reed & Mackay France managing director, Johann Smith, said: “I am delighted to announce the launch of this new offering in France, which is a strategic priority for the company and our group. Reed & Mackay, as part of the Navan Group, is currently ranked as the fourth largest TMC in Europe, according to BTN Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 report.
