SiM announce UK & Europe dates for final leg of PLAYDEAD world tour – Electric Bloom Webzine

SiM have just announced their ‘PLAYDEAD World Tour’ will finish up with the band’s first full UK and Europe tour this winter.

With their extensive North American headline tour ‘PLAYDEAD WORLD TOUR SEASON 1’ wrapping up on May 24th, the band will head to Europe this November for the final dates of their first ever world tour. Serving as SiM’s inaugural full European headline tour, the 13 date stint will see them perform across seven countries in total, including seven dates across the UK. Starting on November 12th in Southampton, UK, the tour will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the band’s formation in November 2004.

One of the leading acts in Japan’s alternative music scene since 2004, SiM rose to international prominence with ‘Rumbling’, the opening song for the final season of the global hit anime Attack on Titan. Seizing the opportunity, they took their music global, touring Europe and North America extensively for the first time.

With six full studio albums of punk, metal, and reggae belters to their name, and an impressive 20-year tenure, SiM have carved their own path and deserve recognition beyond their anime tie-ins.

‘PLAYDEAD’, the group’s sixth album, was released in September 2023, following their explosive sold-out London headline debut in June of the same year.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday May 24th at 10am BST.
