Spotnana to offer LCC fares through Kyte partnership
Corporate travel platform Spotnana is to distribute fares from budget airlines through a new partnership with specialist tech firm Kyte.
The commercial arrangement will allow Spotnana to sell airfares and ancillaries from major European low-cost carriers, such as Ryanair and easyJet, to their corporate customers by using Kyte’s API.
Bill Brindle, VP of commercials and content at Spotnana, said integrating Kyte’s API would help Spotnana to offer its clients the “most comprehensive travel options at the most competitive prices”.
“Travellers booking through Spotnana’s travel-as-a-service platform will soon be able to access the best available fares and ancillary products from a wider range of low-cost carriers including Ryanair and easyJet,” added Brindle.
“This partnership expands our travel inventory and improves our ability to deliver unparalleled value and convenience to our customers.”
The Kyte platform uses an advanced API, which standardises airline NDC and LCC content, giving travel sellers the ability to offer the full range of fares and ancillary products to their clients.
Kyte’s CEO Alice Ferrari said the new partnership with Spotnana “highlights our commitment to making low-cost airline content easily accessible to corporate travel sellers”.
The announcement comes shortly after it was revealed that Concur co-founder Steve Singh will replace Sarosh Waghmar as Spotnana’s new CEO, with Waghmar moving to the role of chief product officer at the company.
