Squake adds Advito’s Gate4 emissions methodology

Carbon reporting and offsetting provider Squake has added Advito’s Gate4 to its roster of emissions methodologies offered to users.

The partnership enables Squake to display Gate4 air emissions in booking tools to help influence purchasing decisions and also to use as the basis for carbon reporting, reduction and removal processes.

“This partnership with Squake is a key step in making our Gate4 methodology more widely accessible, allowing travel managers and businesses to integrate highly accurate air travel emissions data directly into their booking processes,” said Julien Etchanchu, senior director of sustainable collaboration at Advito.

Squake offers customers a wide array of emissions methodologies which users can deploy in booking tools and adopt for reporting processes.

Advito, the consulting arm of BCD Travel, launched its Gate4 methodology in 2020 and secured ISO 14064 and ISO 14065 certification in 2021.
