TAG acquires US-based entertainment and luxury travel specialist
UK-based travel and event management company The Appointment Group (TAG) has signed an agreement to acquire Nashville-based entertainment and luxury travel specialist Travel Stars, the companies announced.
Travel Stars, which manages touring travel for country music artists and luxury travel for wealthy individuals, will operate as its own division in TAG’s existing Nashville office, which is home to the TMC’s first touring-exclusive TAG Academy. Financial terms of the deal have not been revealed.
TAG group touring director, Byron Carr, said the Travel Stars acquisition will take the group’s touring services “to the next level”.
Headquartered in London, the TMC also has offices in Manchester, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles as well as in Singapore and across Australia following the acquisition of incentive specialist CCM Travel in 2023.
“Travel Stars is a very well-established and trusted company within the Nashville entertainment and travel industry,” TAG COO Gabrielle Carr said in a statement.
“Acquiring their renowned travel management company offers our mutual clients even more bespoke services to support the fast-growing and ever-changing landscape of entertainment and luxury travel.”
The group’s strategic move in Nashville comes just a month after TAG purchased California-based production travel specialist Atlantis Travel for an undisclosed sum.
