A full slate of labor strikes are planned throughout Europe this month, which could impact both plane and train travel.

Both flights and trains could be delayed as a result of the various labor actions in the coming weeks. Here’s a breakdown of the locations where strikes are expected to take place and when.

France

EasyJet workers filed notice of an indefinite strike on September 16, according to EuroNews.

While exact dates for the strike have yet to be revealed it is expected that once the walkout begins it could impact easyJet operations throughout France.

The strike plan was triggered by the airline’s decision to close its Toulouse hub.

Portugal

If Portugal is on your to-do list this month, be aware that some public transport workers are planning to strike.

Specifically workers at Carris, which operates buses, trams and funiculars in Lisbon, plan to strike starting September 18, EuroNews reports.

This strike however, will be limited, starting at 10 p.m. the night before and ending at midnight on September 18.
Even amid the strike however, there will still be minimum services for disabled individuals and for emergency needs.

Italy

Italy is one of the most popular travel destinations this fall. If you happen to bound for the country this month, be prepared for a nationwide public transport strike.

Starting on September 20, workers plan to strike for 24 hours. On that date, workers supporting bus, tram and commuter train operations plan to walk out.

The strike in Italy is due to pay and working conditions, per EuroNews.
