Vibe appoints Girling as EMEA head of partnerships

 Danny Girling

UK-based technology firm Vibe has appointed Danny Girling as its new business development and head of partnerships for the EMEA region.

Girling brings more than 20 years’ experience in commercial sales and account management to the role, including a 14-year tenure at Travel Counsellors and, most recently, as the head of commercial and partnerships at travel technology company Inspiretec.

Vibe is focusing on expanding its presence in the EMEA and APAC regions and said Girling will play a “crucial” role in growing the company’s footprint. His appointment comes after the former MD of Amadeus France, Stephane Durand, joined the company in 2023 as non-executive director and after industry veteran Steve Barrass was named CEO.

Vibe CCO Martin Eade, said: “Over the past year, we’ve significantly invested in customer service, software development, marketing and design. These efforts have prepared us for substantial growth… With Danny’s appointment, we’re now poised to capitalise on these investments and advance our expansion plans in the EMEA and APAC regions.”

Commenting on his new role, Girling said: “I am incredibly excited to join Vibe at such a pivotal time in its journey. Vibe’s recent internal investments have laid a solid foundation for growth, and I look forward to building on this momentum to help the company achieve its ambitious goals.”
