Elsewhere, mass tourism is affecting several aspects of life in Tenerife. Just last week a stream of angry protestors stormed a part of Tenerife that has been branded the “last undeveloped part of the island”. Last year village staff erected a fence to block the view in an attempt to get tourists to stop taking so many photos.
